This year Beadlebop will be celebrating it’s 10th Birthday anniversary in our shop here at Fargo Village, https://www.fargovillage.co.uk/ We are one of three original tenants at the Fargo complex who have been here since it opened ten years ago! So to roll back in time, here is the back story.
On hearing of a new development in Coventry of a creative hub nestled just outside of the city centre and close to the University we took a look around.
Presented with a building site and the need to use our imagination as we were well ahead of any finishing date but keen to be on the waiting list so couldn't physically see a unit to rent as a finished entity we decided to sign up and take a punt on what was to be our workshop/retail space. Well we were promised a fabulous painted octopus right outside the shop, so I had to say yes didn’t I!!
Fargo opened up on the 27th September 2014 to great celebration and excitement, with a whole selection of independent creative businesses.
Roll on ten years later and we are here as one of the original tenants. So here we are providing a service of embroidery and printing and having gained some many loyal customers to whom we are very thankful for their loyalty. From small business owners needing customised workwear through to requested bespoke design pieces. The creativity here is unique. From one week to the next there could be anything happening.
So what have the last 10 years done for Beadlebop
I'ts certainly been an interesting journey. What started out as a large space with an idea and one embroidery machine and one heat press, has now developed into multiple embroidery machines, wide format printers along with more heat presses and a lot more services. I've had the pleasure of seeing Beadlebop grow over the last 10 years and I've experienced everything from tracking down parcels, drinking gallons of coffee, meeting our suppliers at tradeshows and events , to working on websites, and setting up pop up events, but mostly words cannot express how grateful we are to our customers for these last 10 years. We have grown with our customers and it's been a privilege to be part of their journey too. With a few more plans to unfold and soon the launch of a new logo we are excited to see what the next few years will bring.
